January 7, 2026

WASHINGTON, DC — Today, U.S. Representative Seth Magaziner (RI-02) released his office’s 2025 End-of-Year Report that includes a summary of his legislative actions, constituent services, community outreach, and federal funding secured for Rhode Island’s 2nd Congressional District over the past year.

Magaziner’s 2025 End-of-Year Report can be found here.

“Since the day I was sworn in, my North Star has been fighting for the middle class and those working to join it,” said Magaziner. “Despite the challenges we faced this year, we delivered meaningful wins for working Rhode Islanders. I am proud to share our 2025 End-of-Year Report, which highlights work crack down on corruption, keep more money in the pockets of working people, and make government work better for our state.”

Magaziner helped deliver, along with his colleagues in the congressional delegation, $315,540,930 of federal funding for Rhode Island’s 2nd Congressional District.

The funding includes more than $740,000 for runway improvements at T.F. Green International Airport, over $3.8 million to support workforce training programs, and more than $8.5 million to support public safety and victims of violent crime.

Magaziner authored 17 pieces of legislation in 2025, including bills to ban stock trading by Members of Congress, guarantee paid vacation for all workers, and expand benefits for military service members.

Delivering direct help to Rhode Islanders was a top priority for Magaziner’s office. In 2025, his team assisted 682 constituents with issues involving federal agencies, securing $872,888 in Social Security benefits, VA benefits, and overdue tax refunds returned to Rhode Islanders.
