Magaziner delivers $800K for police radios, scanners

The city’s Police Department has received $800,000 in federal funds secured by U.S. Rep. Seth Magaziner to update and replace its communication technology.

The funding will support the purchase of modern police radio technology, including 800MHz portable radios and tri-band portable radios, as well as mobile scanners for the vehicle fleet.
