Magaziner Secures $750K for Wood River Health Improvements

On Thursday, Rep. Seth Magaziner (RI-02) joined leaders at Wood River Health and announced that his office has secured $750,000 in federal funding to support high-quality, affordable medical, dental, behavioral health, and social services for local Rhode Islanders.

Magaziner secured the funding through the Fiscal Year 2026 government appropriations legislation, and will specifically help Wood River Health to upgrade and expand their waiting area in order to streamline intake to better serve the growing number of patients in Washington County’s small towns, many of which are seniors.
