Polling shows support for Magaziner bill to guarantee paid vacation days

Newly released polling data provides support for US Representative Seth Magaziner’s push for legislation to guarantee at least 10 paid vacation days for all full-time American workers.

Both parties are looking for issues that are supported by about 80 percent of the population and opposed by just 20 percent, Magaziner said. “And this is one that I don’t think people have homed in on,” he said.

“We are the only major country in the world that does not guarantee some amount of paid vacation for all workers,” Magaziner said. “As a society, people are more depressed than ever. Burnout is real.
