South Kingstown secures $850K federal grant for new community center

The town of South Kingstown has secured $850,000 in federal funding to build a new community center that will serve low-income and elderly residents.

Magaziner also said it takes “more than just a room” to make sure the aging population is “truly taken care of,” which is where the community center comes in.

“There needs to be case management.
