Federal funds totaling $2.25 million will support two projects that Coventry’s town manager this week called “very important for the residents and business owners” of the town.
The funding, secured by U.S. Rep. Seth Magaziner, comprises $1.5 million for flood prevention, sidewalk improvements and other work in the Wood Street area, and another $750,000 to support the creation of a centralized municipal waste collection facility.
