Magaziner Issues Statement Following Shameful Meeting Between Trump and Zelenskyy

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, U.S. Representative Seth Magaziner (RI-02) released the following statement in response to a meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the White House.

“Today President Trump shamefully supported violent dictator Vladimir Putin by humiliating the leader of our democratic ally, Ukraine, in the Oval Office. Before today, America’s foreign policy always stood on the side of freedom, but now by siding with Putin, Trump is leading us in a dark and dangerous direction.”
