WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, U.S. Representative Seth Magaziner (RI-02) released his office’s 2024 End-of-Year Report that includes a summary of his legislative actions, constituent services, community outreach, and federal funding secured for Rhode Island’s 2nd Congressional District over the past year.

“My mission in Congress is to fight for Rhode Islanders, and this report highlights some of the work our office is doing — including actions to lower costs, make healthcare more affordable, protect Social Security, and stand up for workers’ rights,” said Rep. Magaziner. “As we enter the new year, I will continue to fight for Rhode Island values, work in a bipartisan manner to deliver results, and stand up to extremism when necessary.”

In 2024, Rep. Magaziner authored eleven bills, including legislation to guarantee paid time off for all workers, crack down on wage theft, invest in career and technical education, and expand benefits for servicemembers.

Meeting with constituents is another top priority for Rep. Magaziner. In 2024, Magaziner joined 344 events, meetings, and town halls with constituents. His constituent services team also helped 608 Rhode Islanders experiencing issues with federal agencies and helped deliver, along with his colleagues in the congressional delegation, over $1,054,297,683 of federal funding for Rhode Island.
