Rep. Magaziner Honors Legendary Sports Journalist Bill Reynolds on the House Floor

Washington, D.C. – Representative Seth Magaziner (RI-02) spoke on the House Floor to celebrate the life of former Providence Journal Columnist Bill Reynolds, an institution of Rhode Island sports and journalism.

“Families across the state, including mine, started their Saturday by reading his column ‘For What It’s Worth,’ which included his latest not only on sports, but also pop culture, politics, movies and more,” said Rep. Magaziner.

“Bill was one of the best sports writers in Rhode Island history, who mentored an entire generation of aspiring writers and basketball players. There will never be another like him. May he rest in peace.”
