Rhode Island Second District Congressman Seth Magaziner visited CHILD, Inc. in West Warwick Tuesday to voice his strong opposition to House Republicans’ proposed education budget.
The House has passed an amendment introduced by Rhode Island Congressman Seth Magaziner to strengthen airport security standards. He said the legislation addresses vulnerabilities revealed after cyber-attacks on some of the nation's largest airports. The amendment is part of the Securing Growth and Robust Leadership in American Aviation Act. Magaziner is the ranking member of the Subcommittee for Counterterrorism, Law Enforcement and Intelligence.
