Washington, D.C. — Today, Representative Seth Magaziner (RI-02) released his 2023 Office Annual Report that includes his legislative action, constituent services, community outreach, and federal funding secured for Rhode Island’s 2nd Congressional District over the past year.
“My mission in Congress is to fight for working Rhode Islanders and to ensure that the people of our state have a real voice in Washington. This report showcases some of the work my office and I are doing to lower costs, protect Social Security and Medicare, defend abortion rights, and support the middle class and those working to join it,” said Rep. Magaziner. “This is just the start. There’s more work ahead of us, but I am committed to working with anyone, from either party, to deliver results for Rhode Islanders.”
In his first year in Congress, Rep. Magaziner authored nine bills, including legislation to lower the cost of prescription drugs, create good-paying jobs in clean energy, keep communities safe from gun violence, and increase access to affordable health care.
Meeting with constituents is a top priority for Rep. Magaziner. In 2023, he joined 392 events, constituent meetings, and town halls in Rhode Island. Rep. Magaziner’s constituent services team also helped 630 constituents experiencing issues with federal agencies and helped deliver $184,160,789 of federal dollars for Rhode Islanders.
