WASHINGTON, DC — Today, U.S. Representative Seth Magaziner (RI-02) released the following statement in response to a federal judge ordering that Ørsted may resume work on the Revolution Wind project off the coast of Rhode Island:

“Today’s federal court order requiring the Trump Administration to resume the Revolution Wind project is good news for Rhode Island. Trump has tried to stop this project twice, and he has failed twice. Enough already.

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, U.S. Representative Seth Magaziner (RI-02) applauded the House passage of federal funding for five local community projects included in an annual government funding package at his request. The funding, included in the Commerce, Justice, and Science and Interior appropriations bills, will support projects that improve public safety, strengthen infrastructure, and reduce flooding in Rhode Island.

“Five years ago today, more than 2,000 insurrectionists violently attacked the United States Capitol and the law enforcement officers sworn to protect it.

WARWICK, RI Today, U.S. Representative Seth Magaziner (RI-02), a member of the House Natural Resources Committee, issued the following statement after the Trump Administration announced it would suspend several offshore wind projects, including the Revolution Wind project off the coast of Rhode Island which is over 85% complete.

WASHINGTON, DC — Today U.S. Representative Seth Magaziner (RI-02) applauded the news that Donna Hughes-Brown, a legal U.S. resident and the wife of U.S. Navy combat veteran Jim Brown of Missouri has been released from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention. Mrs. Hughes-Brown was immediately released after winning her cancellation of removal hearing on December 18, 2025, ending the deportation proceedings against her.

“Today, we woke up to news of another mass shooting, this one targeting Jews in Australia. This tragic event is a reminder that violent antisemitism continues to be a pressing global problem. May the memories of the victims be a blessing.”
