Since talking office three months ago, Congressman Seth Magaziner said he has submitted 400 requests, an average of about seven a day, for federal funding for Rhode Island projects and programs. The freshman Representative from the Second Congressional District told the Warwick Rotary Club Thursday that he aims to continue the tradition of returning more federal dollars to the state than state taxpayers give to Washington. On average, he said, for every dollar that goes to pay federal taxes the state gets back $1.15.
