PROVIDENCE, RI — Today, U.S. Representative Seth Magaziner (RI-02) held a press conference to announce the reintroduction of his Protected Time Off (PTO) Act, legislation to guarantee all full-time workers in the United States access to paid days off from work.
“The July jobs report makes clear that the economy is slowing and working people are paying the price for President Trump’s tariffs.
Instead of firing the Bureau of Labor Statistics director responsible for reporting the data, President Trump should cancel the tariffs that are costing jobs and raising prices.”
